Irrigating Sugarcane in the Isis

Given optimal environmental conditions and when all other agronomic factors are well managed, between 8-10 tonne of sugarcane can be produced for every effective ML water supplied to the crop.

Irrigation in the Isis region is applied to the crop by the following methods, Furrow Irrigation-H/P Water Winch-Trickle Tape-Centre Pivots and Lateral Move systems. The following links are provided to assit you with further irrigation advice and information support tools.
